Ask Angie and all PG Cayanne color?

I am loving the PG Cayanne sandals but I am having a hard time deciding on the color. The metallic seem to be the most versatile and can go from jeans to skirts/dressy without a problem but show more the distress markings than the other colors. I love them but I am not sure about said markings.
The gray are very nice too but seem more for Fall and the cuoio brown seem to be more for Spring and Summer, not really Fall.
I am still waiting for the metallic to arrive, the others are here.
I am not sure of how the metallic will hold up as far as the color goes and although they are more versatile than the others I cannot stop thinking that fancy shoes bought at the full price should not have any distress markings.
All three colors have markings but they seem to show more on the metallic.
Cuoio is very nice but will the gray be easier to match with my outfits and my hair? Cuoio may be nicer for blonde or light brown haired ladies?
What color would you choose and what color would you suggest for me?

Hmm, I don't think the metallic should show marks any more than the others. I just got these last night, so I haven't put them through the paces or anything, but the finish is a soft metallic, so I would think that any "distressing" would be fairly subtle. Since I definitely want these for summer and I want a lot of versatility, I chose the metallic. I plan on wearing them with crops, cuffed pants/jeans, dresses/skirts, clamdiggers, and longer shorts, so I like the low contrast with my skin.

I guess it really depends on how you envision each color working with the season you plan to wear them in, and the outfits you need them to work for. For some reason I'm not crazy about grey for these. I could see the brown working nicely if that plays with your wardrobe well.

I have seen these at the store. I didn't think that they looked "distressed" in any way. They looked a bit more like gunmetal which I LOVE. and I have lalways found that color to look a bit antique-y. I have sandals and a bag in that color.

Janet, I also want to wear my sandals with jeans, dresses, skirts and for the occasional dressy event. I would like them to work for three seasons. Your sandals look fab on you.
Isabel, that's a good way to think about the color, as a little antique-y. Has the color of your sandals held up well?

I have the metallic. I wore them frequently last summer. They held up well, and definitely didn't develop any distress marks. Maybe the finish on this years style is slightly different?

Isabel said it right -- i didn't find the right word. The finish is more antique-y -- a soft metallic. Not really distressed. Almost suede-like.

It's good to know that the metallic held up well to wear and that it does not look distressed, thanks Staysfit and Janet. They need to last several years to make up for the price and it sounds like that is the case.
Now I only have to wait until mine arrive.

Joyce, here's pics of mine with one year of wear. The bottom has small poc marks from tiny pebbles but the top looks pristine, maybe there's a tiny wear line around the seam for the zipper. It doesn't bother me.

Thanks for the picts, Staysfit! They do look great, practically new even though they were already put to good wear.
Staysfit, it's not like I really polish my shoes but in the unlikely event that I wanted to, how would you do it? Maybe just buff them with a nice cloth?
