ETA: Ask Angie and all: Over the knee suede boots yay or nay?

I got these boots in the black and they are very comfortable and are warm.
I can wear them over skinnies on weekends and under a pleated midi for work.
The best looks are with skinnies and with a mini but I will not do the mini because it would need to be quite short.
They are a bit pricy so I want to be sure before keeping them.
In favor are that they are comfortable and warm. My legs get cold so they would be good with skirts in the Winter when it is not too messy outside.
My doubt is, are they only for younger ladies? Will they look ridiculous on me, at my age?

Thumbs up. Great over black Ponte pants and skinny jeans. Not ridiculous at all. I still wear mine. See below.

That said, you'll need to find your way with skirts. OTK boots are supposed to be worn with minis, which I know is not your thing. They could work with midis. If you can show us a pic - that would be great. xo

I am adding pictures of my boots.
I also have the brown and black skirt and I think I will keep that one instead.
All my ponte leggings are stored now but I will take your suggestion and try them with those when they come out of their spacebags.

These are beautiful boots and I really like the looks with pants and jeans. I think they look best with skirts when there is a little bit of skin exposed between the top of the boots and hem of the skirt.

Suz, they are 21" in length measured from the suede at the base of the heel to the top of the boot. You can scrunch them a little in the ankle if you want them shorter, that's what I did with the above the knee skirt.

You look great in them! It's funny because I recently got a pair and I was thinking it was a more grown up/ classic look (I'm 23), because I usually wear combat boots and Dr. Martens. I guess at the end what matters is that you feel comfortable in them and how you style them.

Dixie, when I was younger I felt over the knee boots were too much for me. Maybe I tamed them with time... What you say is very true, it all depends on what you are comfortable wearing. I am sure yours look fab on you. Show them to us when you get a chance.

Joyce so glad you are keeping. I bought a pair recently and I feel so good on them:). I wear mine pretty much exclusively with skinny pants but the skirts look good here too. Wear and enjoy:)
