I tried on a whole lot of frames today. Gosh, it's as confusing as choosing a lipstick from all those choices!

Can I please have your opinions on these two? I really like the color of the first one. It's a different shape than I initially had in mind but it seemed flattering and the SA chose it as her favorite. The second frame is a totally different shape that comes in several color options if this one looks too heavy.

It did seem like both of these were a better fit- with eye more centered- than shows in the photos. .

I think we have a winner if #1 is pushed further up onto your head (it's sliding down your nose in the pic - which can be fixed with adjustment). GORGEOUS with your eye and hair colour. xo

I love #1. But do check the bridge size and make sure they can fit up on your nose properly. Sometimes if the bridge size is a bit too big, your optician can do a little adjustment with silicone to build it up a bit. I had to have that done with one pair, but I have a relatively flat bridge that gives me all kinds of problems.

#1 all the way! The upper portion is spectacular with your hair, the bottom portion is fantastic with your matching lipstick - they were designed for you!

Thank you all for your opinions; I so appreciate it. It's funny but I've shown the pictures to 3 people and all chose #2! They said that the color of 1 is too close to my hair and liked the contrast of 2.

No wonder this is hard!

Number 1, number 1!

Number 1 makes you look fresh and alive, accessible. Number 2 does bring the attention right smack to your eyes - but I find the darkness strident, even "aging."

#1 looks cute on you. The other one is ok, but drags you down a little.

I like #1 too the second pair look a little heavy - especially on the lower rim. I these choices depend on whether people want to see blending or contrast.

I can see the appeal of #2 -- sometimes I am drawn to the more dramatic eyeglasses, and I do like contrast. But #1 is just so warm and lovely on you. Just beautiful - it gets my vote.

I know it's hard to envision without seeing them, but there are lighter color options I could get in the 2nd frame, if that makes a difference?

My gut reaction is #1 -- by far, but maybe because you are smiling in that photo, it is lending some positive bias and unfairly make glasses #2 look less appealing (at least to YLF posters responding here)?
