ask angie and all: 9west nicolah boot

angie posted an outfit collage with the nicolah boot. finds don't work with site.

is this too tall in the shaft for me? it says 17 in but don't know how that is measured. i can wear a jimmy choo boot with a 16 in shaft--again don't know how that is measured.

Boots are measured from the middle of the arch where your foot sits up to the top of the boot. Often that is from the top of where the sole or platform ends on up to the top. You could measure your foot from the arch up 17 inches to see about where the boot would end.

I'd suggest searching how to measure boot shaft height because this is a case of one picture being worth a thousand words.

Not sure as these are not a top pick. It does depend on how the shaft is measured - to your point. 16 inches is usually for very tall clients. 14 inches for petites. But the shaft does not include the foot when measured that way.
