Ask Angie: American Eagle sweats and sweatshirts

Hi Angie - I was wondering - do you like the hoodies only or their basic colorful sweatshirts (no hoodie) as well?

Also, do you make sure your sweats and your hoodie "match"? I am having a hard time based on their selection to make sure they match.

Maybe a dumb question but I've been in store twice and can't make it work. The sweatshirt that you have on the website doesn't match with any of their sweats.

These are good questions!

Jennifer, for myself, I only like the hoodies because I find them warmer. But AE sweatshirts are fab too. The striped ones that are in at the moment have a great '80s vibe to them, and they almost stole my heart.

My hoodies and sweat pants are completely mismatched, but work (to my eye any way). Like tomato red hoodie with fuchsia pants, or turquoise hoodie with orange pants. These are the combinations I bought last week.

My teen who is 17 said mom, you aren't getting those are you? I said yep. But I won't go out in public. I know you said if you have teens at home you might reconsider but the comfort you talk about is KEY.

I want colorful! I want comfort!
