I've just come across your blog while trying to find advice on dressing for my shape. I have very wide hips, small waist and carry my weight on my thighs and bum. I have a small bust and flat tummy. This leads me to think I am a pear, however I have read a lot that this should also mean I have very narrow shoulders and I think mine are maybe broader than normal. Does this still sound like a pear please?

I find shopping very difficult, often get emotional and return home with nothing. I am not a large person(5'5") and a UK size 10 (top)/ 12 (bottom) but when I try on a lot of things in shops they just don't suit my odd shape.

Any advice would be welcomed
