Sorry for spamming you all with specs! I promise this is the last round. I'm exhausted. Very much in the haze of which to choose.

#1 Thomson raspberry. The colour changes from brown to raspberry according to the light. Lightweight
#2 Thomson steel. Deep purple colour. Lightweight.
#3 Øygreen. A bit more square. Lightweight.
#4 Lindberg horn. Soft colour. Round.
#5 Lindberg acetanium. Lovely turtle shell colour and purple contract inside. Lightweight
#6 Helly Hansen. Tealish colour. Lightweight.
#7 Lindberg round. Round. Very different from the others. Lovely turtle shell colour. Lightweight
#8 Inface. Greenish Nose pads will be put on.
#9 Marc by Marc Jacobs. Nose pads will be put on.
#10 Nice. Nose pads will be put on.
#11 prodesign [not papirdesign as it says in the pic. Autospelling must have kicked in...] Winner from previous round http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....gie-others

#6 Helly Hanson are my faves by far, followed by the last pair, from your previous group. Good luck, it is so hard to pic specs!

I am drawn to the Thompsons but I still like the choice from the previous thread. I think the top of the frame of the the Thompson is very flattering and gives lift. Are they exactly the same shape just different colors? For some reason, the steel looks like it fits better?

kellygirl, thanks for looking! The Thomsons are very similar, but not the same. The three pics of #1 Thomson raspberry are all the same. #2 Thomson steel is a different one.

One pro of steel and titanium frames is that they are very lightweight which is good because I'm very, very near-sightend, thus the glasses get very thick, especially around the edges. And the larger they get, the thicker they get.

There are some lovely glasses here Harmonica - I have two favorites (that probably doesn't help you...).

#6 the green Helly Hansen - LOVE the color on you and the strong top line of the frames. They follow your brown line nicely and your eyes are centered. They might be slightly wide in the outside corner but I personally like that look.

#4 - Lindberg in horn - I think the shape is beautiful on you and they fit your face perfectly. If you are looking for glasses that aren't gold in color, these are an excellent choice.

I like the Helly Hansen and the Prodesign the best. I did not see the previous posts, but just from these I will say that I like you best in glasses with a strong, lifted top line and a wider profile. Funny enough, that's what I like for myself as well. I think we both have that typical Asian bone structure that is very shallow around the nose and eyes with lowish cheekbones, so specs can easily look droopy if they are too prominent or rounded on the bottom.

I like the Inface, albeit the Helly Hansen's also really made me stop and look a long time. My faves may still be the rounder ones from the first set. I like pretty on you.

I like the prodesign and the Helly Hansen green. Both would be great choices. I might be tempted to go with whichever is smaller if you prescription is high.

I know all about too heavy specs. Sigh....

I'm so relieved that you take the time to consider all these specs! I feel it is really, really stressful to make a choice. Also because of the cost. The glasses are insanely expensive due to my lens prescription (-8,25).

Today I've tried to apply Angie's guidelines, especially the ones below: http://corporette.com/2011/08/.....h-eyewear/

The frames must lift cheek and eye area
Eyes should be centered within the frames
Follow the line of the eye brows
Match with facial proportions
Think of contract / colour / 3D
Try on many styles

Diana - you're right. Asian facial features don't fit many of the frames around here. Too many are designed for Scandinavian faces. Well, maybe not surprising when living in Scandinavia I wonder how the specs departments look like in Asia.

I like how you reason, Suz. It's good to have a couple of top choices and then go for the smallest one. Prodesign is in the lead, then Helly Hansen.

Oh, yes, I didn't bring a friend to get a second opinion, but relied on pics and the helping and supporting YLF spirit. So far, so good.

I like #11 best of these, and they may be just right, but it'd be great if you looked at some that are more comparable to the #11's. All the others, IMO, are way too large and round and so I'm not sure you got to the right "group" of frames from which to choose. I would try on a group of smaller frames and see how square, how round.

So much easier to vote on, now:-). Pro design is effortless chic and stylish to my eyes-fits your persona(not onlythe face) like a glove. Helly Hansen great but a bit asking for attention, but Angie will tell the truth.

You have two killer options:

#6 and #11. Can't go wrong either way. #6 is more fun and happy. #11 is more strict and fashionable. Both very flattering. xo

Many thanks, Astrid and Angie!! This is tremendously helpful: I'll try on the specs tomorrow and see how they feel IRL and then make the final decision. Now I will stop bothering you about my specs shopping agony!

I like #11 (the prodesign) better. It seems to fit the overall shape and proportions of your face better. Also, it may be just these photos but it looks like the bottom of #6 (the Helly Hansen) touches your cheek and it looks like if you smile, the apples of your cheeks might squish into the top of the frame. And, if you have thick lenses, you might ask the glasses technician which one would better suit them; I think the #6, with its thinner overall frame from the side view, might hide less of the lens thickness when viewed from the side, if that's something you're concerned about. But, of course, you need to pick the one that you're most comfortable with and goes best with your personality.

I like the Prodesign (11) best. It looks chic and flattering on you, and to me, really brings out your features. The Helly Hansen (6) is more of a statement and could certainly work well, too. Like Danskogirl, I wondered about the way it seems to rest on your cheeks at the bottom though; perhaps this would be fixed with the nosepad adjustment, but I would be wary of how it would feel and look with a heavier lens in place.
