Uniquely gorgeous blouse-colour and fabrication. Just tweak the sleeves a little like Firecracker says. Removing of altering too much were mess with it as the art piece it appears to be.

Inspired pairing with the suit. Actually makes it look couture vs boho.

What a find!

I love everything about this... Sleeves and all. It is the perfect blending of super feminine and strong all at the same time!

I love the blouse, please don't remove the sleeves! It looks boho-romantic. It's also a great color for you.

I think the outfit and color combination is gorgeous on you. The sleeves of the blouse do give me pause, so I would try to modify them if it's possible.

I love the outfit and the blouse looks fantastic in #1, but like Scarlet I'm hesitant about the sleeves. I think I would alter them if possible, so that you have even more options of wearing it.

Ingunn I hesitate about the blouse. You are not much inyo romantic boho stuff. I think this may turn orphan even if it's glorious on you like the other multi coloured silk top

The blouse is great.

I love the brown leather shoes and bag. Very current with the navy. I think the pants length is actually ok with those boots - to me it looks intentional and shows off the boots. The legs are just slim enough that it works for me.

Wow. Killer.

A hundred thumbs up.

Oh, I made a post yesterday and it hasn't stuck. I saw the pic on The Wall, and just loved it. I was saying how much I thought the blouse kept the blue suit au courant - I think that's a danger with blue suits, looking slightly behind the times. Although, I was also saying the cut of the suit is totally of today. So really not much danger.

Thanks, everyone, for sharing your opinions. I'm very grateful that you did that. A special thanks to Angie for the one hundred thumbs up! I din't expect that, but highly appreciate it. It seems that the majority prefer the blouse as it is. My personal opinion is that a minor shortening of the sleeves would be a good idea for a start. I also think Ramya has a valid argument that this easily can become a new wardrobe orphan, because it is an outlier. However, at such a low cost, I don't consider this a big risk, but rather an opportunity to stretch a little.

The blouse will stay for now, and if I'm not wearing it, the sleeves might get chopped off later. That's in fact one of the things I really like about thrifting: Unusual pieces that I can play around with at a very low cost. When I'm done with them, they just go back again, no harm done at all.

Just to add to the chorus, I love the blouse with the suit and was wowed when I saw it on its own. It is a gorgeous statement!
