Ask Angie & All: Can a person have too many things with leather collars?

Ok I'm looking at Angie's latest find and jonesing for it... and I need to know how many leather trimmed items a person should have. Is there such a thing as too many? I have a suit, a blazer, a coat, a blouse, a dress...

Where is my head? I'd forgotten I'd asked this question, and then I was browsing In Style and asked myself the same question again, and then said wait a minute!

Thanks for the link, Laura, and the mixed media love everybody! Good to know folks think it might have staying power. I'm now wondering how many days in a row I can wear leather trimmed stuff into the office... before, you know, it becomes comical...

No, there's no such thing as too much leather, it just dépends on your personal style. I would suggest not wearing too many of them at once, but 2 or 3 is fine together, it can make an outfit cohesive, classy... Its super in right now, so I wouldn't sorry too much about it.

Once it goes out of style again, I would say no more than 1 item at a time though, unless of course you are a cool biker chick!

My brain is fried. I just remembered again that I asked this question!!... I hope you mean it Angie, because I was in Ross yesterday and you know what happened... A Nautica parka thingy with black leather sleeves, army green body, fairly warm (I'm trying not to wear my homeless puffer during the day).

I almost picked up a red plaid and leather bomber jacket, but the plaid was very bright and I wasn't feeling it.

p.s. I have a bee in my bonnet to visit every Ross in a 50 mile radius. I have lucked out twice now with suits at Ross. Serious steals and the darn things are the best fit I've found yet and they're lined.
p.p.s. Are Arthur and Harry Levine brothers or something? Both suits were "Levine".
