Ladies -- I just got these booties, and I have some doubts. These are made of shiny and so, so soft leather -- check. They fit perfectly comfortably right out of the box, and they look good on my feet and legs -- check. They aren't crazy-expensive -- check. I'd wear them straight up (rather than folded down), which I think matches the "higher booties" style of this coming autumn. But they are a comfort brand, and I almost always choose edgy over comfortable. Do these lack the fashion-forward vibe that I need for New York and stylish European cities? If so, have you seen any comparable alternatives?
