Yay, to hear Angie's full endorsement! (I really liked it in you but wasn't sure if I was maybe stuck looking through some middle-aged filter! Whew ;-))

I'll be eagerly awaiting Angie's 'fluid' post too!

MNsara - I think I'm going through the old age filter so a middle-aged one sounds good to me

Just popped back as I wanted to see what Angie, and others, thought

There is no question it is a fabulous coat BUT you don't sound like you love it now and perhaps you once did. Caro, I am with you on only wanting 10's in my wardrobe... are we reaching too high ??... I don't think so. If it's not a 10 for you I might be inclined to put it away rather than donate, pull it out again i 12 months and see if anything has changed.

It seems to have earned a reprieve. I need to start wearing it again to see how I feel. Thanks everyone

Yes, please see how you're feeling about it when you wear it again. It looks fab! It would be a pity to purge it.

I was just calculating your cpw on this beauty. Amazing example of how an expensive garment can be a great purchase if one can swing the initial investment. Doesn't owe you anything but I still vote keep.

I love it with your short hair and the collar popped like you have it on the last pic. Timeless and chic. It did not read bulky to me at all.

Yes, I love it too! Wear it with your edgiest, most eclectic things to make it seem more like you. It will be a great juxtaposition.

I think it looks great on you. I can definitely see this becoming a wardrobe workhorse - it goes with so many things! Trenches are probably best done-up, but you can wear them open too for warmer days by tying the belt from behind.

I love the way you wear it belted. So chic! It looks totally part of your style. Definitely keep, even if you don't wear it that often. I like it with pants or a skirt, and it's super fab with your boots.

Thanks everyone

Mia cpw would be very little & jpw (joy per wear) was huge when I wore it daily.

Caro, please don't get rid of this beautiful garment. It still works. I like the length, but agree with the idea of maybe shortening it. Pin it up and take some pics.

Also, you might try changing up the belt, just as an experiment. Try a black leather belt instead of the tie.

Thanks runcarla. Will try your suggestions when I get home.
