I have a general question regarding challenges on the forum.

I love challenges, both participating and following those I don't participate in. In particular, they are often useful and helpful exercises which provide valuable insight, understanding, inspiration and are FUN.
There are Fabbers who share this interest for challenges and there are Fabbers who are not that into challenges. It is, of course, individual, and different interests and opinions must be respected. I have not been a forum member very long and a lot of things are, therefore, new to me.

Angie and Fabbers, I am seeking advice about how to do challenges in the best way. What type of challenges are good? When to do them or not do them? How large and long? How to present results and posts - i.e. how often, how many threads and posts etc.? Would there be a possibility to create a section for challenges that could be easily accessed or ignored depending on everybody's preferences?

For example, would it be better to create one challenge thread every week, where every participant would present their posts and comments - which could be long and perhaps not so easy to overview, or separate threads for each participant - easy to overview but taking up a lot of the forum. Or limit the presentation of results to one a week or one for the entire challenge period, perhaps? Is it a good idea to have some general recommendations on how to organize challenges, or is it better to be free to do them spontaneously?

I know that some of these questions must already have been discussed, but as I am rather new here, I ask.
