I have been desperately looking to replace my patent-leather, 60's-heel, ridiculously pointed Topshop shoe-boots shown last year on Cara Delavigne (the toes are wearing out, and I have no idea how they could be fixed). I have looked everywhere I can think of and have yet to come up with anything remotely like them. So, now I am trying a different tack, searching for a lace-up shootie that will be good in bad weather, but go well with jeans, crop pants and dresses/skirts (with tights). The nicest looking ones I've found are these Arche Musiqs. They are not anything near as trendy, but they do have an interesting heel and look both comfortable and elegant. They claim to be weather-resistant, too, and have a treaded sole. I would wear these mostly in NYC. Have never worn Arche shoes. In fact, I kinda dislike almost all the styles. I am 66, but I do love to have "different" shoes. And these are fairly pricey for a doesn't-knock-your-socks-off style. What do you fab ladies think?
