5. Marshall’s seems like a full service discount store while T. J. Maxx is off-price merchandise and the merchandise is whatever they are found at a bargain price. I took my 28 year old daughter (who hates to shop) to buy some new clothes at Marshalls. We came out with a new wardrobe of eight or ten items. At T. J. Maxx we would have found a great piece or two, but couldn’t be sure of the pieces needed for a coordinated new look.

6. Please just keep the bargains coming. My Bangor, Maine T. J. Maxx just had a face lift. The store has always been the best I’ve seen having shopped in other areas. It is large, and not cluttered or messy. I love the new changing room and the upgrade to the ladies room is great.
