Hi Angie, I’m eagerly waiting for your swimwear roundup but I have a question for you and others in the meantime.

What do you wear under a rashguard? Most of my swimwear is from Lands End and is lined which I’m finding unbearably hot and uncomfortable. Do they make rashguards with top support?

Elpgal, people tend to wear a few things under rash-guards:

a one-piece bathing costume or tankini top
a swim bra (See Finds below)

A zip-through rash-guard might be more comfortable and easier to pull on and off.

I'm wearing a pseudo- rashguard (just a gear top) over my one piece swimsuit, cause the pool isn't as warm as I'd like!

Thank you all for the links and advice.

Based on your advice, I think what I need is a supportive bra-sized bikini top with an unlined zip-front rashguard for the most support and comfort.

I found this shrug-like option but I know Coolibar is hit or miss for me.

Zaeobi, that’s one of the options I tried from LE. That wetsuit is simultaneously compressive and unsupportive (for me). Not a good look at all although I own several of their ‘tugless’ styles for pool swimming.

I can't bear layers in summer, especially layers of synthetics, but I have found long-sleeved swimsuits with support *and* sun protection.

Not sure what brand, pretty sure I just googled that combo.

Kkards and April, a supportive long sleeved outfit is my holy grail. I need to take a look at modest swimwear. Lightweight, UPF fabrics and max coverage is great.

I found Aerie has unlined, bra-sized bikini tops in the elusive small-band/big cup sizes.
