As promised: Last Call order

My order arrived today - one thing is being delivered separately but these five were tried on and here are the results. I am wearing shorts under all of these, and of course would not wear them this way! Just not ready to crush myself into skinnies yet.

Unless anyone sees an issue, I'm keeping these three tops... The YFB one is my favorite - I know it's shapeless and that everyone is more into tailored these days but it's so me, right down to the kind-of-creepy face you can see in the print. It's really lightweight with dolman sleeves. The lace-back top is fun and I can wear different colored camis under it or nude or black.

The blue lace dress was just too long and matronly. I am still waffling on the ombre dress and need to take a better picture. It fits me a lot like the model, weirdly - I think this dress style can be pulled up or down for length. ETA: pic added. Is it unflattering? Granted the shoes don't help. It's really comfy and I just don't want to look wider.

LOVE the first and the second. The last is somewhat sheer (are you wearing a red bra?) and not as flattering, IMO. But it would look fine with a cami.

I love the blue print one best. And who is into tailored? Not me for sure!

The creepy face one is cool- but I don't get how you are wearing it ? As a dress? I have to be completely honest and say that the blue print one doesn't look funky and edgy and quite you. Something about it is budget looking . And now I will go to h$ll for saying that I know . The ombré thing is cool- but again I don't get how it will be worn - as a dress ? And because I'm typing a reply, I can't go back and reread your comments or I'll lose my reply.

Lisa, all except the last one are tunics - I just don't have the nerve to get into a pair of skinnies. I get the budget thing... This blue thing is their house brand which can skew mumsy, I know. I was hoping for edge but maybe not.

I like the ombre but suggest a try on/ picture with the underthings you'd actually wear, just to be sure. I know the flash sometimes does its own weird thing but for comfort's sake...

The first one seems totally you. (Scares the daylights out of me, aiii!!) And it looks comfy.

The second one (blue print) does not make sense to me. Either for you, or in itself. Is it a pinafore? I don't understand what it is trying to do.

Is the ombre dress see-through? I'm confused! Or do we mean the lace tunic? I am wearing a cami under it! I probably need to style these with real bottoms. *shudder of terror*

You are looking sensational, AG! I like 1-2 (very much your style and fab colour with your hair) and really love the lace in pic 4. The ombré dress is plenty flattering and if it's comfy, that's a win. I agree with others that something about the second top is a bit off. I like the drape and hemline, but not the print and pinny effect.

Una , my friend. You had major surgery two weeks ago . Go back to walking and reading and drinking tea ,and stop worrying about styling these pieces . Wait a bit longer before making buying decisions .

You are probably right - months of feeling grumpy and frumpy followed by major surgery has made me irrational. I will continue to drink lychee sake and chill in my PJs for a while before making any decisions.

I'm into the first, the batwing. I find the third 'pretty', but like it (hehe). I think the fourth looks like something a person could live in. The second, the blue, I didn't understand either until looking at the link to the ad pic. It looked like a sleeveless overdress with a bow hanging off it on my cell. Lol. Now that I understand, what I see in my cell looks totally different and quite all right, but no loss if you pass it up...

I read all comments and I'm feeling confused. I actually don't see a problem with ANY of these and Infact like them ALOT. #3 is my least favourite but I don't think it's bad....plus if you need new clothes to make you feel nicely comfy & colorful - why not?! I love the black lace tunic & the ombré dress. #1 is bad-ass and very you.

And another thing I just noticed - you have AMAZING legs!!! So shapely!!! I think I'd kill to have legs like yours....you can totally pull off these tunics as dresses.....had you not been in Alaska, that is!

I saw the pictures too and realised that Maneera bet me to it. You have amazing legs! You could wear these with sneakers in summer or with tights in winter. I like all of them but the first and last best (the grey and white ones).

I like the first one. I love the creepy faces, and kind of wish I was wearing something like that at work the other day when I needed to give attitude to someone in a professional manner. I could just flare open my arms with a flourish and grin!

The blue dress confuses me too. It's not edgy and looks a bit like one of my grandmothers aprons. ( Sorry for that, but I'm trying to be honest here. You always look so stylish and perhaps the boredom of recovering is causing some overthinking, which can happen. I truly believe it's harder to find that place in your heart that rings true to your natural self when something is off balance.)

I kind of like the last dress. The ombré effect is interesting, and I don't think it makes you look wide at all. I love it even more if you can play with the length. Awesome for varying the shoes you pair with it and even if you want to wear it over leggings.

I like the lacy back dress worn over the red (cami? Bra?). I happen to like this type of look on others and if I could pull it off I would. Sadly, I'm not an edgy type so I have to enjoy it vicariously but I think this is a nice version. I don't mind when a colorful bra shows through a top, esp. If it looks deliberate and this does. Perhaps this is because I work with teenagers who do this all the time. My 22 year old DD does also. I have seen it on my 58 year old neighbor so I'm not saying it's a juvenile look. I think this version looks subtle and sophisticated. Nicely done!

The blue one in #3 isn't really exiting me like all the others, which IMO are all fab. I agree with Manny too...I'd kill for legs like that!

I like the lace and the ombre, and am okay with show through red on lace.

I like 1, 3 and 4. I especially like that ombré dress on you. My goodness, it shows off your lean figure and is flattering to my eye. But, I agree with Lisa that you need to relax, take it easy and focus on healing. The next fab things are going to be there for you when you are back to 100%.

I adore #1 on you -- ultra fab!!! And I also love the ombre' dress (#5) on you -- edgy and fun -- and think it has serious potential. The other tops are fine… just not as edgy.

I love #1 and the last one. It's hard to see #4 but if you love it, I say keep. I'm not crazy about the blue one.

witholding judgment on the others for now except the first. What is a pinafore other thn a musical ship? Suz, you are cracking me up... I didn't mean to insult you! This blue top looks better in real life but I get the concerns. Why is so hard to find edgy patterns in cuts that work for me?

And thanks for the leg comments - I always hid my legs until I joined YLF because they are so bony!

I like the print of that blue top, but I don't love the black sleeves. Print + sleeve + funky hem = A little too much going on IMHO.

Janet's hit the nail on the head. Too much going on takes away from the edge factor somehow. And the vivid blue fights with the cool pattern.

Although it seems to work fine on that top I wore yesterday. But that one had straight lines...hmm. Interesting to ponder.
