I totally agree with LJP the challenge of sourcing really good fashion finds is getting harder and harder. As we all husband our fashion dollars more closely, are there any successes stories to share? Favourite brands, and winning items?

Uniqlo is fast becoming my first stop when I cruise the mall. Every other year I add one of their merino wool crew neck sweaters to my collection. The 6 yo red one has 65 wears, and looks as good as my newest brown one - with 18 wears. Half-moon bags, joggers, thermal wear, puffers - all get top marks from me. Recommend, recommend!

Levis - their denim never lets me down, and they have some other interesting garments - usually natural fibres. Though I had to reattach a button on my new cropped trench, I’m quite pleased with the style and comfort of the piece - with an excellent price point.

Naturalizer footwear. Leather! Low heels. Interesting styles. The perfect last for my foot.
