Sorry for the post and run but I have to get ready for work. Not styled completely but I wear boots in the summers in The Chi. (No, I would not wear 2 different boots at the same time) I just wanted to give a visual.

I'm picking her up tomorrow. I'm all about the reimagined recreated denim teeshirt dress.

Her name is Oshun Bey and this is the 2nd dress she had reimagined for me.

I just wanted to share I got the text last night at 12 midnight.

Hello Roseand Joan thank you for your response. I'm actually here now but I will not try on until tonight or tomorrow tuesday. I will wear her for sure this coming weekend. I loved the green originally I know this is going to be fab.

I'm posting befor and afters. She cut the dress and turned it into a 2 piece a top and an overall type dress. If I did not have to work so late I would take pictures for you. Then I have to drop of all the charity donations and sort them I collected from the Fleek Market this past Saturday.

Hey Angie thank you for commenting. The creator Oshun Bey is in New Orleans until the 3rd of May She suggested as much. She is going to create different loops so that I can tie them at different levels. Great Minds Think alike. Do you really like it?

I love the hi-low hem. Quirky Waif (i.e., me) would totally wear this for the ZA and right now The dress upcycle is too cool. I had a grey dress like your green. Too bad I gave it away!

I have all colors and types of knee high boots but I do like the tan also.

I love this. It really suits you. What a great idea to reimagine a dress.

I have a morbid fear of walking into work or an event and I'm wearing the exact dress as someone else. That's why this is such a great idea...its totally original. I have got dressmakers to alter a dress I bought at the thrift shop but have never done this before...I'm tempted to try it now.

Super cool. Unlike me, who until about three posts above me was saying to myself, ZA, ZA, what the heck is ZA? Aaaahh... The zombie apocalypse! Slaps forehead. Off to make a pot of coffee with the hope that it helps clear the cobwebs in my brain, haha!!

Super creative and really fits your style. Don't kill me but I liked the green dress before, probably bc i struggle to find dresses with sleeves. But you can't compare it to the finished product, head scarf and all. Fierce, as usual!

Sally the artist already has ready made dress that she has in stock if you don't want to have one made. I love that each dress is a 1 of a kind. That actually happened to me once I walked into an event and had a pretty dress and 2 other ladies had the same one. Lord it was a small town .

I really loved the dress before. I have 2 others in Yellow and Blue that were thrifted also. I really wanted this one to be unique.

First I was all : what is ZA? Then I figured that one out. But this dress!! A work of art indeed. I am so thankful you are active here on this forum again - your individual style is so unique yet authentic and somehow not overtly costume-y. I am in awe of everything I see, and to be such a skilled thrifter too. You bring a lot to the fashion table.

Awe thank yo lisap for such kind words. I do go into costume land but I don't mind at all. The only good drama is the fashion kind. I love seeing all the YLF family and our individual fashion. I really love seeing style evolution and how Angie &Greg and all of us creat a safe space here.

Everyone is welcome and not just at the fashion table.

You really have an amazing style! I was also a little confused about the ZA at first (pizza? haha) thanks to abc for clueing me in. I love the idea of upcycling. It might help me to use some of the clothes that I can't stand to get rid of but just don't wear any more.
