UPS, USPS, and FedEx have all made appearances in the last day with some very interesting items:)

#1 & #2: Rebecca Taylor tweed jacket. This is a size 6, following the size guide on the RT website. It fits perfectly with just the right amount of ease in the shoulder. At first glance, seeing it from the hips up, I thought the peplum might be too dramatic on my short waist, but on seeing it in a full length mirror, the flounce is just right. The fabric feels lightweight but substantial and it's very fluid. Beautifully made with a pale pink lining.

I would keep this in a heartbeat if it wasn't for the Smythe jacket I bought at the 2014 NAS. (See Pic #7) They have a similar appearance. Hm...what to do?

#3 & #4: Rebecca Taylor La Vie sweater. This is a Small. It's very swingy and feels a bit mod. It's very short, even on me, and might be too short on a very long-waisted torso (or just add a cami?) Not sure I like the way it hangs off my bust from the side shot, but I like the front view. The sleeves are cropped and more bell-shaped than they looked in the stock photo.

#5 & #6: Vince Camuto Pleat blouse. This is an XS. Sizing is typical VC. The shoulders and armholes fit, but this is definitely a *very* blousy top. The polka dot pattern is fab, but there's just too much volume for me (it's even more voluminous than the pictures show) so it's going back.

The Aquatalia booties are hard to see in the photos, but they're well-made and fit in my usual Aquatalia size. The heels are a little higher than I thought, and they're very polished. I think I might want a pair that are lower and more RATE, so these are going in the undecided pile.
