Hi sweet Fabbers,

Angie and I had a fantastic time catching up again, eating yummy stuff, hanging out with her dear Dad, Greg and her brother, and shopping, of course

Arnhem is our lucky charm because we both find such good stuff there. Angie already showed you the stunning flats she bought, and I'm sure she'll post a shopping update with more loot when she gets back home.

I am updating my Spring/Summer wardrobe and have a small list of needs and wants. Navy or ink straight-legged trousers and lighter-coloured Spring booties, oxfords or loafers were on there, so are tops, a lightweight coat that looks a little dressier than my current Spring raincoat, and a few other things.

What did I find:

- A gorgeous light silver coat with a beautiful collar that is a little tailored at the waist (which I love), but doesn't have a "full belt" > love them on others, but the look doesn't work so well for me at the moment. And of course it was Angie who found it for me. We were on our last hour of shopping on the first day, kind of rushing back in the direction of the bus stop, when Angie spotted the coat in white outside Betty Barclay. I loved it immediately, and was even more smitten with the light silver colourway that was waiting for me inside.

- We then browsed the rest of the store too (of course!-), and these dressier navy trousers, fun striped top, and striped pullover (love the neckline) came home with me too.

- Expresso is one of the other stores that always has good stuff for both of us. I found the rugby stripe cardigan there, and the fun scarf with pink and light blue which works well with the new coat, and lots of other things already in my closet.

- We almost walked past Ecco, I hesitated to go in at first because Ecco hasn't been working for me these last few seasons, but our clever Angie said: "let's just go have a look, you never know." :-)) And look what I found: Light grey Chelsea booties that fit my orthotics and are amazingly soft and comfortable! Score!!

I didn't plan on buying mostly white and blue, or striped items, but anyone who knows me won't be surprised to hear that I'm thrilled to add more stripes to my wardrobe And I now have myself a fun little Spring wardrobe capsule.

I'm over the moon with all my new stuff!-)
