The Halogen argyle sweater in the second colorway arrived today, so I put on each one with a pair of jeans (not super styled, just thrown on after a five mile run/walk with the dog, so again no makeup).
I’m a little surprised that I much prefer the lighter color combination. I like the lower contrast for that large scale argyle. There is also a weird odor to the black one, which of course can be corrected by laundering but it’s still a turn off. I feel like it was returned after a perhaps lengthy try on. Something about the texture of the black one feels different too — slightly less soft, perhaps.
I am pretty sure my decision is made, but I welcome your input.
