I’ll have to try it with sleeves scrunched tomorrow — I’m already in soft clothes for the night! But I do push up sleeves a lot.
Yes, the light gray diamonds in high contrast with the black seem to add a lot of visual width, which was a bit of a concern.
As for bottoms, it’s pretty much blue denim, blue denim, and more blue denim. Also, it looks like the light sweater would work with my dark grey moto jeans, the Rag & Bone Miramar sweatpant jeans, and my gray joggers. Maybe my burgundy Dre’s. I ordered a pair of gray jeans not long ago because I gave away my old worn-out pair of mid-gray jeans, but they didn’t fit right and I haven’t tried more yet. I realize a lot of people would have some great light-colored pants that would go with that sweater but I have a very problematic relationship with light-colored pants. I would wear this with my more faded denim, not the darkest. And definitely with lighter boots or sneakers.
Color wise I have a couple of pairs of patterned pants that might “go” because they have some lighter tones that blend with the sweater, but I’m not into that much pattern mixing personally.
