Argh, Tory Burch sale is making SYC difficult!

I'm a modified SYC-er. Decided as of Nov. 1 not to shop for myself until December 26.
The email notifications are the worst because of course I HAVE to go to the advertised sale and see what I'm missing. Total self-imposed torture.

I just found two items on the TB sale that I sort of feel like I can't live without, especially at these prices. Can anyone talk me out of them? Or IN to them...

1.) Have been wanting a long, tunic-style white blouse to wear with skinny jeans and pants. Love the tuxedo detailing of this one:

2.) I switched jobs this summer and am now a government worker. Of the many changes to my wardrobe, one is that long cardigans figure prominently into my daily office wear. This blue has always been a great color for me:

Did you notice that the white shirt is dry clean only? If that doesn't bother you, it is a good buy. The cardigan is pretty too but I think you can find a similar one after Christmas. How badly do you want the shirt?

how does your existing wardrobe work with your new govt job? you mentioned before that your wardrobe experience price inflation because of your work situation. wonder if being in a different office would have a reverse effect???

these designers aren't helping the SYC 'rs that is for sure!! Tory Burch is just not as sensitive to your current SYC commitment as I thought

Angie, I had a feeling you'd be a fan. And, truth be told, I have been on the hunt for a tunic (in any color) for so long, with no success. So I caved and ordered this one...I even had to call around to find it as it was sold out online by the time I came to my senses, so to speak. However, I had returned a bunch of TB merchandise shortly before starting my version of SYC so I'm calling this more of an "exchange." Anyone buying that? I didn't think so...

Oh, and I was having visions of the new white shirt (I think I own all of one white button down so expanding the white shirt collection is a good thing) with my skinny jeans and/or black jeans with the new Prada heels (silk burgandy, pointy toe)...had to make the vision a reality.
BUT, I did resist the blue cardigan. A partial victory?
