My issue is that I am not checking a bag. Three reasons... One, I have two totally separate round trip tickets (AK-Seattle, Seattle-SLC) on separate airlines. So I'd have to pick up and recheck a bag. Two, I have the worst baggage karma - I think some of the veterans here have heard about my bag full of wedding guest clothes getting dropped and run over by a plane on the runway. Three, I can't afford to let the items I'm bringing go out of my sight, because they are items I need here too, and if anything does get lost, my sister and I are not the same size in anything! I'm already agonizing about coats... The problem(for a change) is that I have TOO MANY possibilities for this weekend!
It sounds like the activities center around films, plus my sister's commitments and parties, plus the HBO party. I never thought to google images - that's brilliant and makes me feel so much better.
I love the suggestions here, and wow, some of you have better knowledge of my closet than I do! Right now, I am thinking of either leather skinnies and silver sweater that I wore on New Year's eve, or the Eileen Fisher dress with purple fishnets and the Gidigios. Here's a crazy combo I came up with last night but it would require booties!
Also considering my Indian clothes, but those require a lot of ironing/steaming to be presentable and I'm not sure what we'll have at the house we're sharing.
