You might check with your doctor and see if half an aspirin before bed would help. I have to take aspirin before flights and do ankle and foot exercises to prevent swelling. It generally is troublesome on international flights, 10 hours or more. Flying from Arizona to Michigan doesn't usually bother me.
I also find that my hands are larger- I don't know if swollen is appropriate- when it is warmer. I just have more blood getting to them. So after I get out of a cozy bed my wedding ring is normally tight. After I shower and my hands are back to a normal temp they get a little smaller. When my hands are cold my rings practically slip off.
