I'm not usually a fan of sale shopping I hate things I like not being in my size. I have ordered some khaki jeggings but they were in my basket last week and it was a bonus that they were in the sale when I came to order them today, though my hand accidentally slipped and I ordered a jacket, pair of shorts and scarf too, oops!!!! x

Dang, Nordstrom cancelled my leopard coat order - I had a bad feeling about that one Guess I should consider myself lucky - I did manage to avoid the marauding herds of wooly mammoths. But I didn't get my coat.

I braved the Boxing Day sales since my family was in town & my Mum wanted to go. All I bought was a pillow and 3pairs of running socks though. However yesterday we went out to a surf town and I bought a dress from a small boutque there - I'll post pics in a separate thread since I'm a bit unsure about it. Hoping is a keeper though as it would be a 2 hour drive to return it!!!

Laura I'm sorry to hear your order was cancelled. I am still bummed that Karen Kane cowlneck dress has sold out at nordstroms! I am stalking it religiously, but starting to give up hope!!

I'm mostly looking for Junior, but I am really searching for a pair of brown, flat, knee high boots.

I bought a grey short sleeved cardigan yesterday, which I hope will serve as a useful layering piece for the next few months and in to early summer.

Between returning to work and a myriad of family committments, I have not been able to make use of the money I received for Christmas. However, my husband and I are both off of work on Friday, and he has promised to take me shopping. I am quite excited by this since he has a great eye and always pulls together specatcular outfits for me.

yoblocka - does myshape.com ship to Australia? They have the KK cowl neck. I hadn't considered it earlier (feeling I have plenty black dresses), but Laura's pics look so great that I'm on the fence now. . .

I'm also considering the Karen Kane cowl neck at myshape.com ... although am not thrilled with the "final sale" aspect. I've never tried on any Karen Kane clothing before ... does this dress run TTS? I'm a size 6-8, depending on the company. According to myshape.com, I'd be a size medium in the KK dress, but they've been wrong with me before.

so sorry about your coat, Laura : ( . My husband talked me into going to the mall the day after Christmas. I think he just wanted to try out his new shoes, because he normally doesn't like shopping at all, let alone the day after Christmas. He bought a pair of slippers and we went home. My tolerance for crowded stores has decreased tremendously with age. I'm not shopping the sales, but I did use my gift card present from my husband yesterday, the first day the store was open after the holiday. I came home with this dress and 3 other items.

MNsara I don't know if they ship to Australia but the final sale thing does bother me too, especially as it is not super cheap at $60. I personally wouldn't risk it. Anne I remember someone saying it ran a bit small when I asked so I was planning on ordering the L. I haven't seen it come back to nordstrom.com in any size in the last week though (and I have been dutifully checking every day), so we may be out of luck! Surely someone wants to return one though you would think!!!!
