I snagged the faux fur leopard print coat in Angie's store when it went on sale at Nordstrom for $89, although I am nervous that I didn't actually get a size S because I haven't rec'd a shipping confirmation after placing the order online yesterday. I've been disappointed before, but fingers crossed! This is the coat:

And, my husband got a beautiful wool overcoat at the Half Yearly sale. That's it so far! Did anyone else score something at the sales yet?

A little bit. I came back from vacation and saw the ASOS red leopard scarf on sale. Had to jump on that since I missed it earlier : )

I am a little. I got the ASOS red leopard scarf and some boots I hope. I love the Leopard coat I have really enjoyed mine.

I'm window shopping the sales Seems I can't pull the trigger. Every single online order from the last month I made has to go back, except for the tux jacket and 2 layering turtlenecks. I'm now gun shy

And if I were being completely honest with myself, they should probably have been returned, too but I like them too much so I'm making allowances in my head. "They're just for layering, no one will see how low the armpits are. I can roll back the sleeves on the jacket until I get home to the tailor I trust . . . ", you know the things you tell yourself.

I haven't posted a photo but I did get the S. It fits just fine. They didn't have an XS at the boutique I purchased it from. My camera isn't working but if I can get a pic I wll post it.

The Gap had 40% off all sale prices today and I scooped up the Pure Body Dolman t-shirt Angie recommended in 4 different colors for only $10.80 each. Combined with the right scarves, these will see me into spring, too! Super comfy.

I just jumped on some Old Navy tees that I'd hemmed and hawed on a few days ago. They popped up when I put an Athleta black pencil skirt in my cart, and just happened to put me at $50 for free shipping, so I decided that made it worth pulling the trigger lol.

I've been nursing strep throat since Christmas so I haven't been shopping the sales. But I intend to purchase the long glass "pearl" necklace in Angie's favorites sometime in the next month, even though its not on sale. I've had my eyes on the Rory boots too, they look so good on everyone who has gotten them!

Maya, I'm in the Northeast and I've been shopping...online! Just ordered two pair of boots, sadly, they are snow boots for the girls and nothing yummy for myself yet, but I'm working up to it.

A friend of mine came over to celebrate the Christmas and stayed overnight. We woke up early on Sunday morning and hit the road for some shopping at a nearby outlet mall before the snow started. It was actually a very nice shopping experience. The stores were pretty much deserted, the selection was excellent and the prices were really discounted. Pretty much everything at Banana Republic was 60% off so I got a denim skirt for $11.50 and two wool sweaters for $13 each. I wish we didn't have to leave early to beat the snow.

Oh, I feel for you East Coasters! Here in Chicago we are all clear ...

I went to Macy's last night and it looked like a herd of wooly mammoths had stormed the store in search of sweater dresses. The dressing rooms were piled with rejected clothing and on the sales floor, items were strewn all over the place. Unbelievable. The wooly mammoths missed Bloomie's however, so I was able to score that Chequer sweater dress that Angie blogged about a few weeks ago, on sale. Today, I'm staying home!

Laura - the wooly mammoths must have migrated from Los Angeles! I also braved Macy's to return an item, but the lines were too much for me, with 15-20 people waiting at each register! It looked like there were some amazing deals, but I can't take those kinds of crowds so I just left.

Nothing yet. Have not braved any stores so far. But today me and Mom are going to do a little shopping up here in the suburbs of Vancouver. I don't need anything specific but we will see if anything catches my eye. I got a nice sized gift card for Christmas and its burning a hole.

Finally getting off my lazy ass and hitting the mall tomorrow....hoping desperatly I will finf *something* I love AND that it fits (or the tailor can make it fit!) Wish me luck, please....I am burned out on online shopping (too many expensive returns) and cant physically shop for more than a hour or so....

Perhaps you could make a list of things you've seen online that you like, but want to try on in store. That could narrow the search down a little?
