I read a feature on Catherine Summers' blog the other day about making the most of your best feature or features and it got me thinking. In the article she says that you may not think you have one but it is possible to make the effort to improve on things and get a best feature. The idea isn't about having plastic surgery or the like. If you think you have nice hands, make the effort to have a regular manicure ( or do them yourself) and wear a fab ring, then use them when you talk. If you have good legs but they could be amazing then exercise and pamper them. You get the idea.
I was talking to my mum about this yesterday and said that I like my eyes and eyebrows, then she said I did have nice eyebrows (hers are fine and patchy) so I showed her what they were really like without my magic touch... see the pic below in which I have removed the eyebrow pencil on the eye on the right.
I always use a fine pencil everyday and extend the outer third and fill them in as I feel they help to frame my eyes and I always use eye make up.
I'm sorry if it seems like I'm blowing my own trumpet so to speak, but I was wondering ... have you thought about your best feature or do you want to make the most of a part of you and make it fab? Have you thought about what you could do to obtain it?
Just trying to spread a little self love to everyone as it's good for self confidence and lord knows we all need some of that.
