SO and I are at my house without DS, who is out west with his fabulous Aunt Mae. Since we exchanged our gifts before DS left, we are planning to spend tomorrow relaxing and cooking something scrumptious and time-consuming.
We're making the Mushroom Walnut Pate from the "Veganomicon" cookbook (see here) on baguette slices and olive-oil biscuits. Then butternut squash ravioli (making the pasta from scratch). There may be a side dish involving kale and maybe one involving cauliflower, since both of those things are in my fridge already. Dessert will be Almond Raspberry Torte cookies, which I'm going to make this afteroon.
