some women like bags, brand bags, chanel, louis vuitton, hermes...
Some women like shoes, Jimmy choo, YSL, christian louboutin, chanel...
are you a crazy fan of this? Most of time, i could not understand why does a woman spend lots of money on the bags, shoes... ok, i have to say the brands are really nice, beautiful, and there are more and more online stores sell knock off brands, such as http://www.sellredbottomshoes......-c-25.html, http://www.boxchristianloubout.....-c-32.html

is it worth you to spend such money on them?

I'm a "bag lady" but I don't consider myself a fanatic. I don't really care about brands. I just love well-made and interesting looking bags.
I'm not as into shoes mainly because my fussy feet and lifestyle limit my footwear options. I do love to admire really cool shoes on others, though. I am almost completely clueless about shoe brands with the exception of the most well-known designers.

I love shoes, but I'm not willing to pay several hundreds of dollars for a pair (boots are a different matter). However, I have found that cheap no-name shoes don't last as long. Since my tastes are pretty classic (i.e. I will wear my shoes for several years) and I like heels, I'm willing to pay for well-made shoes that will last and not ruin my feet. Comfort is pretty important to me too!

I don't get bags though... I usually only have one handbag that I'll use till it's worn out. Then I replace it with another. I can't see myself switching bags on a daily basis...too much trouble. But I do admire the women here who consider bags when deciding what to wear...bags certainly can make or elevate a look!

I'll pay whatever it takes for shoes that is cute and comfortable, and do follow brands that have been a success.

i agree with you Sunita, Comfort is pretty important to us, no matter brand or not.
As long as we like!
I have serval bags, different styles, when I decided to buy one, i need to think how to match it with my clothes, it always makes me confused.

to be honestly, i like brand shoes, but do not like brand bags.
I like buy things online, but seldom buy shoes, cause I do not know how to choose shoes size when i cannot put them on. Do you have some good suggestion?

I love shoes especially flats and boots, but since I am not a brand conscious person, I would not spend too much on just one shoes. I would rather buy comfortable shoes than brandes shoes.

I LOVE shoes. I have lots, especially summer shoes and will rarely wear the same pair twice in a week.

I am not a bag person at all. I carry one purse. It matches my laptop tote and stays in it most of the day. It goes with pretty much everything I have. Its black leather with silver hardware. I also have one wristlet clutch for evening on the rare occasion I'm wearing something too dressy for my normal bag.

I'm constantly on the hunt for awesome and comfortable shoes. I don't even look at bags unless I have to.

I do have one pair of high end shoes and one very expensive bag. I am not sure if I would make a habit of buying very expensive items, however. For starters, that would be living outside my means and way out of my pay grade.

Both items are very special to me and were my personal reward for achieving a promotion ( in the case of my shoes) and being able to recover from one of the darkest chapters in my life (the bag). They were paid for in cash, no I did not incur any debt on either one. In that sense, they were money well spent.

I do own a range of mid price point items that were bought on killer sales and way cheaper than retail. I am very frugal when it comes to paying full price.

I have lots of shoes, more than bags. I just have 3 bags, in different styles to match with my fits. They are all not spend too much.

I'm definitely a shoe hound although I rarely spend more than $100 on a pair. Most of mine are in the $30-$50 range (many found on sale). I have the most non-fussy, average feet (not wide, not narrow, normal arch, etc) so it's easy to find shoes that fit. I don't really get the fascination with handbags. I have one for everyday use and a couple nicer ones for dressier occasions.

Oh yes! I have tons of shoes, most of them second hand, some of them very good brands that retail for $500. I don't say they are worth that much, nor would I pay it, but I am more than pleased to get them almost new for $2 - $60. I don't wear heels higher than 2 inches, and usually much less, but this does not make me love shoes any less. Many of my "expensive" shoes are lesser known Italian brands, but you can see the quality difference and it makes me happy!

Shevia, lesser known Italian brands are the best, aren't they? I have a pair of shoes I bought from a girl selling her used stuff at a market stall. I paid $15 for a pair of unassuming classic black leather Mary Janes with a perfect heel maybe 2.5 inches.

They turned out to be a treasure and a go-to shoe. They are one of the few local manufacturers left - an Italian family with a small factory in a suburb of Melbourne. Okay, not strictly Italian made, but in the same tradition

I definitely have a dollar figure that I am not prepared to go over for any item of apparel or footwear. I do want cute comfy shoes but I go into sticker shock pretty easily.

Fruitful, I am sure your shoes are as Italian as any for all important purposes. I am lucky that a lot of Israelis shop in Italy and I get the trickle down effect from their shoe discards.

I'm a shoe gal all the way but don't spend on expensive shoes because it's not worth it, plus I get bored with my shoes quickly. Boots, I may spend a little more.
