Are these white jeans too long?

Hi all,

I am loving these Levi's Modern Rise Demi Curve Straight Leg Jeans that I got on sale from the website, but I'm wondering if I got the correct inseam. They come in 3 inseams. I went with the medium, which is 32" long, but I wonder if I should have gotten the short 30". I'm a little bit unclear on PPL for straight leg jeans. I would theoretically like to be able to wear them with heels and flats, but realistically I wear flats most of the time. I had tried on the short inseam in a skinny leg before, and it was too short, but I'm wearing 3" heels here! What do you think?

Also, for anyone who may be interested, I like these jeans a lot. The modern rise is bordering on too short for my long torso, but it is workable. And they are soooo much more opaque than other whites I have tried on. Not sure if you can tell in the pics, but I am wearing dark undies (I would normally wear nude but was too lazy to change what I was wearing).

I think they are abit too long. With how much you love them, might be worth having shortened.

I don't think they're too long, but I would much rather err on the side of slightly too long than too short any day, since I have such a tough time with getting pants long enough.

I don't think they are too long either. I like that amount of scrunch with flats. Too long is better than too short!

I was just debating this issue with my only white item which is a pair of skinnies. I prefer longer and think these look good as long as they don't drag the ground!

These look great to me. I'd rather have them slightly too long than too short.

Ack I'm sooooo indecisive about length! I'm thinkng I might order the short just to see. And I might need to order the next size up just to see. What is wrong with me?

I honestly think these look good and wouldn't really go shorter. I think 2" shorter may be too short for you.

So maybe I should take them up an inch or so? I'm realizing I will probably never wear these with heels. The occasions when I wear heels with jeans are few and far between. I will most likely wear with a flat sneakers like all stars or similar.

How is the stretch/bag out factor on these? A larger size will hang longer. Even if they don't technically shrink, in my experience jeans crinkle up a bit so look shorter after they are washed, then loosen up and go longer as you wear them. If you truly think you would not wear these with heels, I would order a size up that is 2" shorter. You may also want to order a size up in this length and this size 2" shorter if you want to be 100% certain, LOL!

I feel your pain. I find that even with my flat shoes, if the heel varies just a bit I then find I've not got PPL's if too short. Or I'm indecisive about what shoes I might ever want to wear with them.

These look a bit too long as-is with extreme flats, even though you need some scrunch for sure. So to me it's matter of whether it's just as easy to spend a bit for hemming, if the pants themselves are perfect, vs. whether to try to find the exact length ready-made, vs whether you're wondering about a different size anyway. First why don't you try turning them under and pinning--do 1" and do 2"-- and see if that helps your thinking.
