They're definitely dramatic, and perhaps a tad wacky in a good way - but I don't think they are so over the top that they would be unwearable on you. I don't know that I'd dare pair these with another pattern or too much texture, though, because there is so much going on with the shoe to begin with.
The one question I have, though - isn't much or your wardrobe charcoal or black based, with some ink blue? Is brown going to pose a challenge? Not that color mixing is a bad idea, but still... worth considering.
