Are these too much of a Marant ripoff?

New booties by Ksubi! But I don't like wearing knockoffs, and I'm concerned these look a bit too much like the Isabel Marant dicker version. (You know, the ones that have been knocked off by Madewell and everyone else.) What do you think, am I safe?

1-3 are the Ksubis. 4 is a Marant (in suede)

In the end, most of fashion has some imitation involved. I would enjoy the shoe on its own merits.

I have the dicker boots, and I think these are quite different. These are more rugged, have quite a bit more of a sole, higher heel and less of the cowboy thing going on. I really like these, they definitely stand on their own merit.

Great boots. What's the reason it matters? I think that's the key. My DV Joust booties are pretty clearly a rip-off of Acne boots, but I like them on their own and would not have considered the Acne boots at the price.

The style is all over the place now. I don't think anyone would think, oh she's got knockoffs.

I agree with RAE, the short bootie like this is prevalent now that I almost would go the other way and say the designers are finally catching on to the popular styles on the street. I won't be surprised to see a designer mustache shirt soon.

They remind me more of the Acne not the Marant. I do not like "knockoffs" either but I don't think there is anything wrong with "inspired by" . If the boot fits wear it!

Looks more like the Acne pistol than the dicker. But not too much. Would get it if you like it for what it is.

They do look similar, but to me it's a very simple boot and doesn't have the knock-off vibe. It's when they are very specific and then knocked off that they look bad.

For example:

I also think that if the quality is good, it shouldn't matter if it's a "knockoff" or not.

I don't think the Marant dicker booties were so original that she owns the copyright on all ankle boots with vaguely western styling. Anyway, these don't have the same stitching at all.
