Those are all kinds of cool. My question is, how OK are you with slightly muddy toes? I don't know how calf hair responds to getting a bit wet, but I suspect that the toes will go gray. If that's part of the look you want, I say go for it. If you want them pristine, maybe not.
I have a pair of white leather tall boots that have stayed really white, and I live in drizzly Vancouver. I wear them all the time. But the leather is less likely to absorb dirt. Again, I'm not sure how calf hair is going to be.
