Are these electric blue booties ugly?

I have never even heard of this brand, but these came up in a search for blue shoes. They fit my criteria in terms of heel height, and I think they could be versatile, but are they ugly?

I actually like the weird sculptural/futuristic thing United Nude has going on. I've drooled over their pumps in the past - so my vote is "not ugly." Plus, they would be a good reason to rock some blue tights! MaryK has a good point about practicality, though.

Love the color. But I honestly think that fabric will start to look bad very fast. It'll snag or scuff badly.

Nothing electric blue can be ugly. I think that's a foundational rule of Modern Logic. Or something.

Anna makes a very good point though. Fabric shoes can be tough care wise.

I think they're fab and would great with tights and a skirt. I think I'd probably keep them as "inside" shoes only though, 'cause I'm not sure how you'd clean the fabric if they got dirty or wet.

Wow, I was bracing myself for something truly hiddy and I think they're very cute for you. I'm just getting to know your style, of course, but this seems like something that would fit in with your wardrobe and be practical at least through early fall...you could totally rock them; I vote yay!!

I think they're cute! It's listed as having an 'elastic upper,' which might be easier to clean than a canvas or knit material. And it's from Endless so if they're awful you can ship them right back for free - go for it!

I am thinking of wearing them as a neutral a la Mary "everything is a neutral" K! I have a thrifted leopard skirt that I think would look good with shoes this color. Also my blue patterned shift dress, a grey and white faux Missoni (Missphoni?), and black pants.

These do not have to be THE shoes, but I'm having a hard time finding anything that doesn't have a pointy heel in which I would die walking in winter.

Anya, thanks for that link! I think the shoes look better on the foot than just floating there, but they still look a bit clunky to me. I'm not sold on the fabric for your climate either. Not sure which way to vote!

I don't like the fabric - on my screen it looks like the cast DH had on his foot last year (same weave and wrap style and they did offer this color) Sorry. I think you can find something better

I love the color too but i don't think i feel like the bootie itself is anything special. Not ugly but not.....(fill in the blank i guess. cause i'm going blank).
