Agreed, yes. And from someone who has never spent more than $300 on any pair of shoes. These are so unique and personal that you will love them forever.
Really cool. I'm glad they are too tall for me... but just to play devil's advocate: are they really spring boots? They still look plenty tall and warm to me.
I have the shorter Frye engineers and love them. I wear them year-round. I like the ombre effect, and it doesn't strike me as gimmicky--should wear well for a lot of years.
I have seen these a few other places and I have been tempted myself! And Seattle has boot weather all the time, right? What's your hesitation? The style, the shading, are they sort of duplicating something...?
I called Nordstrom Bellevue and they have them on hold. Will try them on this weekend. Also will ask for for a price match as Piperlime has them for $328.
