Are there any wardrobe items you have been waiting years for?

For me, I really want a bright green wool coat. For the last three Fall seasons, I haven't been able to find the right bright green in a silhouette that works for me. No one really *needs* a green wool coat so I am managing fine without one. I'm curious whether others have a dream item that they are willing to wait years for? Just curious.

The perfect real leather jacket. I have tons of faux leather jackets but only one real leather, and it's not perfect. The faux leathers are great, if I could duplicate in real leather, I would in a heartbeat.

I just ordered a bunch this week, so we shall see. The hunt continues. I don't know why this one item is so darn elusive for me.

Oy Suja!! I am dying for long blazers to come back. I am talking 33" fingertip length. Everyone once in a while one comes out but is disappointing (I am talking to you Lafayette 128 jacket!!) Although, Theory came out with their marcela last year but I was hoping to ration that one. With my shiny elbows, it may end up in heavy rotation soon!! But couldn't some fabulous and affordable brand just do them for one season so I could stock up!! Sheesh!!

I like Shiny have real leathers and faux ones, but am holding out for the coveted black one in real that makes me feel as awesome as some of my faux ones do! I don't even know what style I want, just want a spectular one in black!!!

I've been looking for a leather jacket. I can't find the perfect one. Since I went silver I think I want a grey one. I want the leather to be luscious.

I'm also looking for grey cowboy boots.

Two. One is a winter interview dress also suitable for weddings and parties that is perfectly shaped and flattering on me. The other is a classic sleeveless LBD - not a cocktail dress- that can be dressed up or down and that doesn't make me look like a sack or a MILF.

So far no luck.

The perfect classic navy blue cashmere-wool blend winter coat. A bit below the knee to cover my longest dress/skirt without being too long. Roomy enough for a jacket or sweater underneath, but not too bulky. A cross between princess style and man style. No belt or ornamentation. Warm. Timeless.

A cropped black jacket. I have one in brown, but I can't seem to find a black one of the right length that fits me right. I've stopped actively looking, but every so often, I start digging around again.

Definitely with Gryffin...long, structured jackets. I would settle for just one perfect one in black with a stance appropriate for my high waist that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Also, I have wanted a car length casual brown leather jacket for years. Sundance recently had one that was almost perfect, except that it was double-breasted. Still looking...

Also, comfortable, simple black pumps that don't look matronly and don't give me blisters. *sigh*

Patiently keeping an eye out for a white real leather jacket, but it isn't high priority.

Oh, and the perfect grown-up cat dress!

So interesting! The hard to find items seem to be mostly suits and jackets and in certain colors. Makes sense because these items must fit exactly right and are generally more expensive so we are extra picky.

I'm in the leather jacket camp too. I'll settle for faux...but I can't even find something that fits right in faux that doesn't make me look like I came out of a Star Wars movie.

A beach coverup in a breathable fabric and flattering cut.

Really good quality long sleeve tees in good quality fabric in black and white, scoopneck, but not so low they can't be worn without a cami.

All season coat or jacket. Must cover my rear. Must be a neutral color that works with three seasons (I.e., not black). Some shaping, no belt. Textured or quilted. Not shiny. Lined so some warmth for 45-55 degrees. The search goes on and on...

Round toe, brown lace up oxfords with slight (0-1.5") heel. Diana's Born heeled oxfords were soo close - but hurt my knee. Argh.

Black leather dress boots, no ornamentation, with 2.5 inch heel, 13-13.5" shaft height, and 14.5-15" calf circumference. Nonexistent so far! Would like to try on as opposed to ordering from Duo!
