Are shooties still in style?

This is the shooties I really like. They are comfortable (tried in local store) but I am not sure if its too late in the game to buy this kind of boots.
I am short and very thin ankle so can't do ankle boots as there's lot of gapping and just never looks flattering.

Should I pull the trigger?

Gosh... I hope so. I have the same ones and LOVE them. (Bought them last winter.) They are so comfy for my fussy feet. I wear them often with dress slacks, skirts, dresses and even boyfriend jeans. I am obviously biased, so probably of no help to you in your ultimate decision.

I think these have a bit of a menswear vibe so kind of trendy. Pretty classic style and the buckles are cute. CLarks are usually very comfortable so ticks the practical box. Go for it!

I'm with El Cee...I hope they are still in style too, because I also have the same pair, except in a different color. I love them too! I even saw another woman at the mall the other day with these shoes.

I also have the same booties, but in the cognac color. The 3" heel is a bit high for me, but still very comfy. I wear them with my bootcuts, mostly.

What is more versatile color in this kind of boots for years of wear?
Black or cognac?
I have knee highs in both.
I am thinking black but worried about it being too heavy (kwim)?
I am definitely getting it now

I just bought something similar but with a wedge heel in camel...very excited about getting them in the mail!

I am partial to cognac colour for everything, but black is also a trusty standby. It dépends on what you will be wearing them with most: if you wear a lot of black, I would almost go for the cognac to add some contrast and make them stand out. If you mostly wear jeans, or lots of colours, maybe go for black. What does your coat look like? Match the shoes to your Autumn or Winter coat perhaps?

They look great and yes I think this style of shoe is here to stay for some time:). Not sure re colour as I don't know your colouring or wardrobe;(

I think they are great. I've been wearing booties/shooties since the 90's no matter what the current style. No matter what's trending I usually get compliments. There is something confident and powerful about them. Plus they work for pretty much any outfit and pants style. So a big yay from me!
