Are round toed booties in style?

This time of year I wear my black booties almost daily, and the ones I have are starting to get a bit shabby. I saw these on Amazon and liked what the reviewers said about the booties having a slightly narrow fit, but...are round toes in style? Most of what I see is either pointy toed or almond.

Your thoughts? Other black bootie suggestions? These are a great price but I'm not concerned about that. I am looking for something plain, black, and of course, stylish

Yes, Staysfit, I was thinking that. I'm also not sure if it's the toe or the heel that's not so stylish, or maybe both.

I think a round toe can look very stylish if the overall look, particularly the heel style, is modern. I prefer a more pointed or almond style toe, personally, but I have a couple of pairs of boots with a more rounded toe that I enjoy very much.

I actually think they look cool. The toe doesn't seem so round and the heel looks mod to me.

I agree with Colette. And I have the boots Janet has pictured above, and although the heel is high, the toe is very much the same as what you are showing on the amazon pic. I think they are great!

I'm in the camp of being very close to needing a good toe box regardless of what's in style. Even almond toes push that limit. So there can be "level one" style, and then, how to combine some updated feature with a necessary comfort feature to get "level 2" style (or I might end up with level 3 one day soon!). Also the toe on these boots looks almost square- round, sort of in-between that--not a real bulbous round toe.

On the website, these seem to have the leather extending down the back of the boot over the heel, so it doesn't read as a true separate block heel. For some reason, that looks less modern to me than the toe issue, but I am so not the person to know about that.

Thanks, everyone, for your input. Unfrumped, the heel is also making me pause.
The supposedly narrow fit makes me really want to try them. as narrow fitting regular width boots are difficult to find, and N width boots are extra difficult to find. I usually just double up with socks but sometimes that makes my feet too hot.

I wear what works got my arthritic feet, regardless of what is in style. My tall boots have an almond-shaped toe, but I went up a 1/2 size for comfort.

Strictly speaking, I think a very round toe is out. BUT I think these work.

These boots appear to have an almost square/round toe which seems to be trending. I think they would be plenty stylish. If the fit is good and comfort is high, I think they would be a nice addition to your wardrobe.

when I clicked the link, I'm looking at a suede boot that looks quite cool and luxe - maybe I'm seeing the wrong image?

Karie, I think the good thing is that these can definitely work if they fit you well. I see all kinds of boots out there that lose their cool because of poor fit on the ankle, or heel is too high so person walks awkwardly while wearing, or not a good mix with the outfit, so there is boot and there is boot as part of total package. Your outfits are great.
I tried on over a dozen black ankle boots this winter and never found a pair that I thought were a step up from my Munro's including, I want MORE comfort . So you probably have a sense of what works or what are the odds.

Round toes or VERY slight almond toes are the most comfortable for me, so I wear them whether they are trending or not.

Good to know I was wrong on this one because a round toe is more comfortable to wear than pointed. I the look of an almond toe the best.
