Been thinking more about flat shoes since I've upped my commuting game. And this post by one of my favorite fashion bloggers saying she's over her heels and she used to wear some really tall heels

Flatforms are totally on trend. Just more fringe.

I like flatforms, but they're not necessarily easier to walk in I've discovered. But these oxford kind should be good.

I love my flatforms and feel .......just a little cool when I'm wearing them
Besides that they are flat but give me a little height ( I'm only 5 foot )
Really glad that Angie says they are still on trend

Does it matter if they're in? Do you like them and do you feel comfortable and "yourself" in them? Then they're right for you. And my personal opinion is the two you linked bring the funk in high style. Love the first one especially in portland brandy -- great colour.

I love my flatforms! I've only ever seen sandals, though. I like the darker of the 2 pairs you've posted.

They are absolutely in, I think. In fact, around here they are everywhere. I see no sign of them going out yet. OTOH, I wear them myself because they are so good for walking (or at least, I find them to be so). They still look cool to me. My favourite ones are a pair of Red Or Dead white ankle strap sandals with cool lugged soles. I nearly bought some that look similar to the ones you linked: they look comfortable to me.

I am not so keen on brothel creepers but they are all over the place so my aversion to them is clearly not shared by many a young Brit.

Rachy, they CAN be hard to walk in. You have to find a pair with a flexible sole.
