My Brother and SIL told me last weekend that in their city (Harrisburg, PA), they've been seeing a lot of women walking around in cowboy boots and mini skirts.

I haven't seen any in my neck of the world, but I live in place where trends take about 2 years to catch on. (In fact, there are still women around here with mullet-style teased bangs and feathered back hair, a la 1981. And they aren't doing it facetiously.) But Harrisburg isn't exactly a Capital of Fashion, either.

So tell me: Is this a new trend? An old trend? Just a weird fashion blip in the Capital of PA?
