No, usually short and narrow. I usually wear an 8.5 - 9, always fit the 9.5 in this brand's boot without adding any insert, if I added an insert I'd need the 10.
My flat moto style Aquatalias fit true to size. I am usually a 7.5 and the 7.5 Aquatalias fit beautifully. I also have a pair of their high heeled suede boots and I had to size up to a size 8. Both pairs are incredibly warm and comfortable.
go up a size I think even going up a size they were a teeny bit too small which would not have helped going to the next size. I returned them. Which hurt because they were a fantastic Black Friday deal @ Off Fifth

Have you bought any high quality European shoe brands in the past? Aquatalia fits like those, which I do find run small and narrow compared to US brands.
I have the aquatalia undy boots and I went 1/2 size up. I usually wear a 7 and my foot is on the wider end and the 7.5 was perfect. PS very comfortable!!
I also find them small. I agree with going up a size, at least, for a boot. I have a pair of booties and they were also a little tight at first, but the leather did eventually "conform"...but they were not comfortable out of the box for me. I would not buy again because I don't want the breaking in period.
Hm, I would also say they fit true to size. I have 2 pairs of booties in a 6 and they fit well, no breaking in needed. My feet are medium width and I have small calves and ankles. Aquatalias are good for smaller ankles.
I have somewhat narrow feet (not enough to actually buy narrow widths, though) and I buy my regular size 7 in Aquatalia's.
I have three pair. Two are size 7 and fit great, and one is a 7-1/2 because they were on NAS and that was the only one left in the company at the time! But they are too big even with a thick sock...I just deal with it.
So I think it depends on the shape of your foot...if you have narrow-ish feet you might want to keep your same size.
Thanks so much for all the data points! I did go up half a size, and I have Amazon Prime, so if I misjudged I hopefully have time to reorder before they sell out.
I have thicker ankles and wear size 9 normally. I am hesitant to order in a 9 and the 9.5 is sold out! Thoughts? Has anyone here worn Gianvito Rossi? I find they are running small as well.
If you have a narrow *foot*, you could try the 9. But if your foot is medium width, I would wait to see if the 9.5 comes back into stock. I have three pairs of Aquatalia boots/booties, and all three pairs are half a size larger than I usually wear. I think that Aquatalia runs narrow, and most of us with medium-width feet have to compensate for that by going up half a size. With some of my Aquatalias, I do have to wear a thicker sock to take up some excess space, but my regular size definitely didn't feel right.
This is so interesting to me; I have a generally duck shaped foot and find Aquitalia true to size in both booties and pumps. Maybe because when I bought them, rounded toes were a thing?
