Aqua cashmere sweater tunics are on huge sale!

Hi everyone, just dropping in quickly since my holiday activities are keeping me quite busy. I know that quite a few of you have been interested in those cashmere sweater tunics at Bloomies so I just wanted to say that a few of them are currently on huge sale, $117 with extra 60% off ( it shows in the shopping bag) which makes them around $47.

from the first time you posted those dresses, but I am afraid the scoop is too low for me... and we don't have Bloomies here. And unfortunately other ones seem to have scoops as well. (sigh)

Marianne, that's exactly the second one I have ordered in grey. You should give it a try, I don't think that the scoop is too low at all, it would look great layered over shirts or turtlenecks.

No problem Marianne, I am glad to do so. If they fit me ( which I really hope they do) I will primarily wear them layered and much less on their own anyway, since they are for cold weather.

Do you think this would work, and do the pockets look silly. It seems might it might be one of those tunic sweaters that would show every bump and lump of what you are wearing under it, like the jeans? Gotta love these prices. I have never looked at the Bloomies website before this.

I was wondering the same thing Tanya, if that was the sweater that Angie wanted to order. It would look good on her wouldn't it! What a great color.
I really miss the fact that they don't show the backs of their merchandise on the Bloomie's site.
Those are pretty sweaters you chose Tanya. I actually thought of you when I saw the grey cardigan with the ruffles on the chest because it is very feminine. It would look awesome on you.
I am so glad to see sweaters that cover my butt now. I was just thinking that I should find more casual skirts because I hate the look of my behind in jeans.

Wow, Angie, I also wasn't sure which cardigan you meant, but it is very you!

I couldn't resist the price and ordered the grey sweater. I hope the scoop will work and I'll have to play with layers. Tanya, I'm hoping to see your pictures - you wear turtlenecks a lot better though.

San, I am also always mindful about long sweaters stretching out, but these seem to be a little more A-line and not as long which I think helps. I also liked the dress with pockets, it looks thick enough for not being too clingy. It seems to be gone from the site now.

I ordered this one. Some of the others had me very tempted but with my casual lifestyle I decided I better pass on the more dressy sweaters. It's hard though because they are nice. I like this one because it has texture and a tunic look to it and will cover my flat.

My two tunics have arrived today and I am very happy with them. They fit really well ( not clingy, not too loose) and are the perfect length for skinnies. Unfortunately I can not post the photos till I go back home early next week.

This concludes my quest for sweater tunics, since with the black one I bought 2 months ago now I have three. I will be starting to look for 1-2 sweater dresses to be worn as dresses now.

Maya, I have ordered this one from VS, and it's waiting for me at home in Boston. I'll see how it is when I get there and post a photo. I won't keep it unless it is absolutely perfect.
