Anyone want to help me shop for a dress?

We are hosting a Valentines' Wine party and although I have 3 black dresses that I could choose from and be perfectly appropriate, I'd love to have an excuse to buy something new..I'd love to find something in red, pink, or purple. Smarter than a day dress, but not looking like I'm heading off to an evening at the Ritz. I'm thinking of asking guests to come "casual cocktail" (see my other thread)
I would prefer sleeveless and knee length... let the shopping begin!

Every one of those dresses are winners - I am smitten by the animal print!

However, for Valentine's Day, I would opt for the print Nordie dress. It evokes the "pinkness" of Valentines Day without being obvious, and is casually elegant. Second would be the pink poplin wrap. Don't think you can go wrong with any of them, though. Nice choices!

My top two would be the print Nordies dress and the pink poplin Overstock one. They just have a little extra festivity! Your party sounds great.

My faves are the purple dress from Nordstrom and Tahari dress from overstock.

I like the Tahari ASL sheath and the Donna Rico Cowl neck the best, but none of these would be wrong. The Tahari looks pretty similar to the purple dress I bought for the December wedding (final piccies coming soon), so I might be biased by that.

It looks like I also missed on the voting. You had a lot of cute choices. My favorite was the pink poplin from overstock, so you might consider it if it's still available when the weather warms up. C/B a great sundress. (I personally think the right sundress is hard to find.) Be sure to check the fit closely on the Nordies dress. I looked at the back view and it appeared that it didn't fit the model all that well.

Your party sounds like a blast! Gosh QM, do you live in Denver:)?

if it's not too late, I vote with Sveta. And the Donna Ricco is such a good deal!

The poplin is lovely, but the bow seems like it would get in the way. I also love the animal print dress just because.... but the other two are in the color palette you mentioned.

ETA: Oops, I guess it is too late. Can't wait to see your photos!
