OK so my best friend is a computer geek. He sent me this:
"So if you take a size 38 woman http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U.....thing_size
You get 35" waist and 44" hips. Lets assume the length of the shorts is 8" Perhaps short but they are short.
If we assume that cutting the crotch and one side we have pretty much a trapezoid. b1 = 35" b2 =44" a =8" http://www.mathopenref.com/trapezoidarea.html
We get 316 sq. in. Or about $9.5/sq. in. Of course if we go for more the the size 2 woman the price goes up."
He got the sizing off re measurements but it's a ball park figure.
Now we know.
KatiePea and I are on the same track. Maybe I should bedazzle some knock-offs!
(A few years ago, one of my coworkers had a very fun bedazzling party so that we could relive our childhood craftiness. We all brought shirts or tank tops or anything that we wanted to bedazzle, and she had jewels and glue and puffy paint - the full works! We had a blast.)
