Like you, Elizabeth, I do this anyways - for exactly the same reasons . Today in fact, I'm wearing a navy cashmere sweater that has mid-blue glitter stripes on the sleeves and back. No way am I wearing this in Sept, Oct or March/April...so getting as much wear out of it now before it looks wrong again I'll make a concerted effort to dress with a nod to the season - and take some photos along the way. I like this!

In the Southern Hemisphere we get to actually wear the sparkly sleeveless holiday dresses that they advertise for you to wear but it's too cold for you so you want to wear velvet pant suits instead! We see a lot of red, less green, a fair bit of gold... will join in and try to show you some outfits x

Yes count me in, this works well with Katerina's style stretching challenge, so I will meld the two together!

I like this idea for all the reasons you mention-especially staving off winter wardrobe boredom.

I wear red only during Christmas season and Chinese New Year, so this plaid shirt comes out to play at those times. Here’s a recent outfit I wore to a book club meeting. Much dressier than I needed to be, but I thought it was fun. Used a ceramic gold and white brooch to add some sparkle.

Fun idea and I love Jessikam’s outfit!
