Yes, it is the one pictured. I stalked it on other sites for reviews. There's also a crew neck version that's poorly reviewed. Most of the comments were about the dress being shapeless, which I think is kind of obvious from the product pics, so I wondered if it's more a case of poison eye for fluid shapes?
I have two dresses by Kamalikulture. Angie has two, also. Not this one. I haven't seen it.
The ones I have are pretty body con. Fit on the small side, I would say -- but this one is cut differently. I love mine -- they pack like a dream. Not really great for cold weather, though. Sort of interim season dresses in my climate. I do wear the long sleeved turtleneck one at home in winter (with tights and often a topper) but I wouldn't really wear it out -- the jersey is on the thin side.
Traci, I am pretty sure that is the one that I tried and it didn't work for me. I really like boxy shapes but this one was really full. I tried a smaller size, which was still plenty boxy but the arms were really narrow. It was just an odd fit. I wanted it to work but I returned it.
Susie! I knew someone here had to have tried it...what with all the love we have for both Kamalikulture and fluid fits. Your experience seems to fit with the reviews I read. I would probably mostly wear this dress as a layering piece, so the extra volume and slimmer arms MIGHT be okay.
I think I'm going to stew on this one for a while. I need to harness my fall/winter wardrobe and then reassess my needs.
Traci, FWIW, I got mine at a super low price from Zulilly on a tip from another Fabber. So, if you stew for a few weeks the price may come down anyway!
