Anyone Know This Site?

Last year I bought this Clarks Taipei Mary-Jane in black, and it's the most comfortable heel I've ever worn. Ever. I love this shoe sooooo much and I'd like to order the gray.

It's no longer available in my size on any of my normal sites (Zappos, Endless, 6pm, etc.) but I did find it on this site called UKClarks.com - which seems to be a Chinese site. I'm a bit wary of ordering from a foreign site I know absolutely nothing about.

Does anyone know this company or this site?

Oh Marlene! Noooo! So close ... sold out in 8 1/2 in gray! I'm weeping. (Okay, not weeping, but very upset.) Thanks very much for the suggestion, though.

I've had luck putting things on the QVC waitlist. If it comes back in stock they will ship it out directly to you. And if you find it elsewhere first, just cancell the waitlist order.

Try Ebay as well!

Marlene - sorry to be dense - but how do I put something on the waitlist? I tried to do the "wishlist" but it wouldn't let me, since the size is sold out!

Tara, try visiting or calling one of the outlets. They keep a nationwide inventory of all Clarks retailers and if they locate the shoe, they will ship it to your house for free. I am not sure if the non-outlet retail store will do this for non-current models but the outlet definitely will.

Now that I know your size, I went back and double-checked. It is indeed sold out. Sometimes QVC will mark an item Waitlist if they plan to restock but these are marked sold out. However, check in with them after a period of time and see if there were any returns. I'm sure they will show up somewhere....those are pretty cute shoes!

Tara, I have those shoes in grey and this summer I was at a Clark's outlet and they had them in black, so I purchased them. That's how good they are. Shana has a good idea about calling an outlet - they were definitely in stock there a month or two ago.

This might fit better under, 'You know you're addicted to YLF when..." (ahem), but I have to say this thread is reading like a fantastic detective story. I'm rooting for you, Tarzy! Please keep us updated. Those look like amazing shoes.

I ordered the shoes from Allan's, despite the fact that I know nothing about the site and I'm naturally suspicious by nature. That's how much I want these cute and comfortable shoes!

I am also on the hunt for these shoes in 8.5 and grey! There is a shop by my office that has them in black in my size, but they only have size 8 and 10 in grey! How did it work out with this mysterious website???
