Anyone have Gap always skinny cords?

I am scouring for the flint grey cords that are sold out. Does anyone have these cords, and if so how is the fit? I haven't bought Gap in at least 5 years, if not 10, and I hear a lot of advice to size down. Thanks for any info!

These always skinny's are very very skinny. I had to size up.

I had to size up as well because of the waist. Since you're more proportionate you may not need to - I would get two sizes just to see.

Mo, have you seen these Lands' End Canvas skinny cords? I'm interested in these myself.

I haven't tried them, but the price is really reasonable. If you live near Sears, there's free shipping if you order in the store and you can also return to the store.

Has anyone tried these cords?

I did see those but am concerned LA fit isn't as skinny even though they're described that way. Also, they are out of the slate grey I want. I might have to go for more $$ on J Brands or Current Elliot. Sigh. I thought Victoria's Secret had these but I can't find grey anymore.

Ooh - I am looking for I guess 6 if they run small. I would be doing a happy dance if there are any flint grey cords still hangin' around in store!! (never even occured to me - I'm so far away from brick and mortar options, lol) That is too kind Isabel!!

Hi Mo, I am on the phone with a manager at a store in Boston. She is telling me that they do not have any skinny cords in any of the stores in the Northeast. She said it is possible that they just have not reached the stores yet. She did put aside a pair of flint grey jeans in the Always Skinny, style no. 847827011 in case you were mistaken about the material.

Apparently, there is a bunch of inventory coming in tomorrow, so she said that I could check back tomorrow evening.

ETA : I am going to Boston tomorrow for a doc's appointment, so if the cords come in, I can pick them up on my way home in the evening.

Oh, you seem to be correct. I just did a quick Google ( I MUST see you in those cords ) and all the images that pop up are from 2010.

I will call the store and tell them to set the flint grey jeans free.

oh, Mo, if only I had seen your request yesterday The Gap in a mall I was at definitely had skinny cords in a bunch of different colors. I can actually check one that's in walking distance today, but I don't think I can get to the other one...

I'm a little bit confused about what Isabel got told because I am in the Boston area and saw the cords yesterday. They're beautiful. Really fine-wale.

ETA: you mean the lightweight corduroy leggings, right?
