Anyone have an Elliott Lucca bag?

I've been wanting a python print leather clutch and saw that Nordstroms has some from the Elliott Lucca brand, one that I'm not familiar with. While they are not super pricey, I don't want to buy one if it will not hold up. Here are links to the two I'm considering. Both have detachable chains, although it isn't shown in the second photo.

Even if you don't have a bag of this brand, what do you think of the style? Do you prefer one over the other? Do you have other suggestions? I'd like something in the ivory/grey/taupe color palate.

I have 2 Elliot Lucca handbags - I've had both of them for probably 4 - 5 years, and I love them. I think they are really a great quality for the price. If I remember right Isabel got an Elliot Lucca backpack style handbag a couple of years ago - and also last year when we had our So CAL YLF weekend Claire bought one at the swap meet - its one of the ones that she has since dyed.
I love both of the bags pictured above. I might lean a little more towards the first one because of the black/white graphic design on the back side - but both of them are beautiful!

I have two Elliott Lucca bags and I love them both. I think both of the ones you posted are great but I have a slight preference for the second one.

I am reasonably sure Shannon has one also. And if it's the one I am thinking of, I think she just loves it. Joy for you, I would prefer the second one... it's stunning and elegant, perfect for you.

Deborah is right - I have the Elliot Lucca snakeskin satchel that Angie had on the NAS list. I love it! Quality is great IMO. I'm not crazy about the chain on that first handbag Joy but absolutely adore that second clutch - this would be beautiful with your cream and winter white outfits.

I like the look of the second clutch, especially considering it comes with a strap as well, even though it's not shown in the photo. I might be silly/picky, but for some reason, I am not crazy about bags/clutches that have the zipper showing at the top opening, so I much prefer the folded over closure on the second clutch. I think it's just gorgeous!

Meanwhile, I don't own an Elliott Lucca handbag, but I just bought one for my aunt for Christmas - the quality seems excellent, especially for the price.

So funny - I just ordered the second one yesterday (but from e bags, where it is 25% off). It took me a long time to decide between all the different prints/colors. The reviews all seem to be positive.

Thank you all so much for your comments! I'm also not a big fan of the zipper top of the first one. what does appeal to me about it is that, without the chain, there is a minimum of hardwear showing, so more easily used with gold or silver toned accessories. Since my pewter flats and gold loafers are both favorites, it would be nice to be able to use a bag with both. It's also more grey and a texture rather than a pattern.
However the fold over style of the second is more attractive. It's also a little bit bigger. And I suppose I can ignore the mix of metals? Linda, I'm tempted to order from Ebags. Thank you for pointing out the sale.
