Inspired by Angie’s admonition to start swimwear searching now, I have a quest for an eventual replacement for my favorite beach vacation swimsuit. This bikini is from Rod Beattie Bleu, and it’s been my favorite for about five years now. Something about the sporty-sexy vibe really works for me. I think the stripes and sportiness somehow offset how undeniably curvy my body shape is. I also like that this style has just enough coverage for my taste without being too much or too little. And, it’s my perfect color scheme. Hubs loves this suit.
Alas, after these years of wear, it’s starting to discolor a little from sunscreen, specifically on the white portion. I found my exact suit (but many offerings were separates) on eBay, but the separates seem to be in a mishmash of sizes which are not necessarily mine.
It doesn’t seem like it would be that hard a style to find, but it is. If anyone out there sees anything similar, I’d love to know!
